I have taken the plunge and added to my blush collection by adding the newest member: Melba by MAC. Being a bronzer girl I tend to only wear blush on special occasions or when i feel like adding a bit more glow but Melba has more to it.
It is quite pigmented which means you only need the tiniest amount on your brush and looks amazing on the cheeks, the perfect peachy pink blush, so natural and subtle yet it enhances my big brown eyes and goes perfectly with a nude lip. For best results I use the Real Techniques Blush Brush, together they create marvelous results.

Soleil Tan De Chanel.
It's not very often that i dish out on beauty products, i'm more of handbag and clothing type of splurgerer but this month has all been about beauty. After reading endless reviews and raves about the Chanel Bronze Universel otherwise known as Soleil Tan De Chanel I convinced myself that this would be the best investment ever and I haven't looked back. Firstly let me just start by saying how beautiful and luxurious the Chanel packaging is, wrapped in beautiful CC stamped tissue paper, along with the Chanel paper bag i can stare all day at, I have fallen in love. The gel/cream formula works a treat for blending and contouring and suits all skin tones, and best of all you don't need to use much product at all. The downside is that it has a slight fragrance which is no good for those who have sensitive skin. I use the Soleil Tan De Chanel with the Real Techniques Stippling Brush which works perfectly for blending the product out and achieving that sun kissed looked which i often opt for. Well friends, the bronzing god's have answered my prayers, definitely worth reading up about and investing your hard earned money in to, I've finally joined the Bronze Universel love club.
Winter Fragrances.
I'm not usually one to have a summer and winter fragrance but after moving house and re-decorating my dressing table I have re-discovered my all time favorites. These fragrances don't have to be necessarily worn in any particular season but these are my go to's for winter as they linger and stay on for a longer period of time. Jil by Jil Sander is quite feminine and floral with hits of vanilla and mandarin followed by a slight amber undertone. Dior's famous J'Adore has been one of my favorites for a while now with the endless raves and reviews seen and heard throughout the beauty blogesphere I wear this all year round, it too is fresh and floraly with hints of jasmine, but what really gets me is the sleek, glamorous shape with the luxurious gold lid, I can't help but receive envious stares when pulling this one out of my handbag. My third favorite is the modern, yet amazingly shaped Lady Million by Paco Rabanne. It reminds me of the massive diamond I (pretend) I have on my finger. Lady Million in my opinion is like the modern day J'Adore, its musky and fruity and has little hints of citrus and the biggest plus is that it lasts!

Clarins
Clarins Beauty Flash Balm.
This Multi-functional balm doubles as a brightener and primer, with long lasting results it makes your makeup last for hours and makes you look more awake and glowy. One of my staple products which i use on days where i need a 'pick me up' this is my go to essential. I have also found on my skin that it takes away the redness and puffiness around my eyes and leaves me looking more awake, defiantly worth getting a sample of next time you are near your Clarins counter, with so many benefits in one little tube, how can you go wrong?

bought. tried. tested. loved
bellow are some new beauty products that i have recently purchased and loved, my make up routine needed a bit of an update so i decided to introduce some things i have never tried before. So here you have it another review!
Maybelline Dream Terra Sun Bronzer
the dream terra sun is more for those who like a bit of orange in their bronzer, it contours my face nicely and the streak of orange compliments my skin tone. I personally look for the more orangey bronzer rather then the brown.
Australis High Lights Mineral Face Highlighter in Gold
for me this is a first as i have never used a highlighter before and i am loving it! i apply it to the upper cheeks heading up towards the end of my eye and best of all it is a reasonable price, using a highlighter can be tricky so its crucial that you pump out a little pea size at a time and add more if you want to achieve that more glower look.
Kate Moss for Rimmel Lipstick in 26
I have found my nude match made in heaven, not only does it last long but it has a velvety matte finish which is my favorite formula this lipstick too is reasonably priced. Pinky nude's are my favorite as they match my skin tone to a tee and enhance my lips without looking fake.
L'Oreal Lumi Touche De Lumiere highlighting pen in 2 Medium
If your wondering or even considering getting the YSL Touche Eclat pen, dont bother, because this does the exact job without the hefty price tag. It highlights and enhances your eyes and brow bone area perfectly and doesn't slide off during the day.
Maybelline FitMe Concealer
not only does this concealer cover blemishes and take away the redness but it also lasts long, the Fit Me range is the best colour palette wise as they do exactly what it says and fits in with my skin tone.
my take on a magenta lip
I have recently tried to switch up my make-up routine by trying to introduce new products such as a different coloured lip, a highlighter, and a liquid concealer. This is my take on a bright magenta lip by having a sleek winged eye, a swipe of bronzer along the apples of my cheeks and a bright lip, you too can achieve this look on any budget as the magenta lip suits any skin tones! I haven't included the foundation i am wearing as it sometimes varies depending on how my skin is behaving.
